Minimize “clutter” on the drawing

You’ve got the drawing done and you’ve added the duct. But you need to work on the walls. It’s hard to see the walls with all the ductwork in the way. Did you know you can temporarily hide the duct – or any other item on the drawing – to minimize the “clutter?”

We had a request from a contractor to make the drawing a little easier to interpret. He gave the drawings to the installers to for determining where to put the duct. But the light gray lines that separate the rooms made it a little difficult to read. We were able to fix that for him.

Fan External Static Pressure

If you are doing a Manual D, whether through Tabular Manual D or through MD Ductsize, you will want to make sure you have the right external static pressure. It’s really simple in both programs.
